Fridakus and Fixiins!

Its a beautiful Friday in Nashville and the sun is California warm! Approaching eighty-six degrees, Nashville begins to bustle for the weekend's activities. Its already shaping up to be a great weekend for dining and for loads of fun. This Friday Fixins is special. I found this great site with some very ambitious recipes and fantastic photos. Through the power of the internet, I share it with you in its raw form for your own selections in dining experimentation.

..and what would a Friday be without a good haiku or two. SInce my cohort has returned from Mexico, I will contribute with two this week. We apparently enjoy doing this little tradition. definition—haiku: short Japanese poem that describes scene or generates feelings. Nonetheless, my humble attempt at a beautiful art form.

Beautiful Smile

Stretched corners wide
Gleaming white soldiers ajar
Oh beautiful smile.

Bareful in the Grass

Fresh toes curling grass
Passionate, laughing figures
Two people happy.

Running through the grass, sprinting through the sunlight...isn't that how every song from the 70s started out? Great image and it's good to be back.
