Idiot Sexy; Climatic Gloom

road rage

"Sugar Free Gummy Bears!"

It is raining here steadily...in fact; heavily. It never ceases to irritate or bewilder me how some are determined NOT to arrive at their destination. What can possibly be gained from zigging in and out of heavy rain rush hour traffic? We are all on the same road and unless your vehicle hovers; all I see ahead is an ozone-killing parking lot machine....nobody's moving! So where do you think you're going? ....Right up the backend of the car that just stopped in front of you. You might have noticed it if the makeup pencil had been in the other eye and your cigarette had been in the tray. Thank goodness you had your cellphone on speaker. Shame about the coffee. Dashboard needed cleaning anyway. Meanwhile, don't get out of the car...nobody can see you if you dont look at them.

road rage

"Can you hear me now?"

Its clear that police and moticians will never be jobless; just overwhelmed. We speed to our ends from birth. That is the nature of humans. They want to be where they aren't, they want what they can't or don't have and pretend to be somebody else. The good news (at least for the market) is that there is a ton of money to be made from our natures and companies are racking up. Forget all the creeds about protecting and serving the public; that only true from the standpoint of "would you like a silver or a gold platter." The value of things has become how fast can I have what I want, not how well is it made or will it hurt someone else. So what....you're probably right....people want what they want, even if they slowly strangle themselves to death with a golden rope. We all know that smoking kills; but hey, EVERYBODY dies from something!

But you can focus on better things...like improving your life since you're checking out anyway.

Ahh...its a fantasticly dreary day. The sun is locked away behind the thick cloudy bars. Gloom is served at every corner of the sky on a dismal platter. Its a beautiful darkness, isnt it. It was the perfect morning to just stay warm and cozy in bed; but we didn't. There are things we want, things we intend to keep...so we keep going...speeding away until. We're gifted to be so oddly normal.

And oddness is a gift. One that we could probably use a little more of, truth be told.
